The Prince of Wales’ brand, Duchy Originals, has appointed Tendercare Nurseries of Denham to retail the company’s new range of outdoor furniture, the Duchy Collection.
Created by designers Leon Krier and Stephen Florence, the collection is inspired by pieces they produced for the Prince for his gardens at Highgrove.
The range – for which Duchy of Cornwall woodland in Herefordshire provides the native sweet chestnut from which the items are made – includes a garden chair, bench and banquette, dining tables and chairs and occasional tables. Also available are fabric cushions and parasols.
The idea for the Duchy Collection came from the Prince himself, keen to find new sources of income for British forestry and for rural communities, and all profits will go to The Prince of Wales’s Charitable Foundation.
